We love all of the vets at Plateau Veterinary Hospital. We have been coming here for about four years, and they have remained compassionate, affordable and knowledgeable. These past two weeks we have had to be in several times for two of our pets, and no matter who we brought it, the team also asked about the pet who wasn't there. The communication between the vets is amazing- even though our dog needed care over a week, it didn't matter who was available- everyone was up to date on her condition and available to help answer questions and plan interventions. This teamwork resulted in us being able to avoid using the emergency vet, which we are so grateful for. And because of their usual "less is more" approach, I knew when emergent surgery was the recommended intervention for our dog, that it was truly what was needed, not just a money making scheme. I also love the new texting feature with the office. It has made it so much easier to communicate, especially when I am at work and not able to make a phone call. Really lovely addition to an already wonderful practice.
Thank you Dr. Joyce for your kindness, understanding, and compassion when we had to euthanize our sweet 17 year old dog. Dr. Joyce was kind, professional, and exceptional. His staff also was incredibly thoughtful to make the task less awful.
